WELCOME!

WELCOME!
We are a young group of volunteers from the Family International who've come together to form a theatre group in London.

With our plays, we address controversial and difficult issues everybody faces in today's society. We perform all over London and the UK with one goal in mind:

Encouraging our audience to take control of their futures, and challenging them to make a difference!

Monkey Business...

(Breaking for Lunch: Tina, Faye, Cate, Heather, Sam, Lani, and Josh!)

On the 12th of Feb, 2009, our team hit the streets of central London to pay our own form of tribute to the Big Idea Exhibition in the National History Museum. We met up with some other volunteers at 12 in Trafalgar Square and, armed with about ten bags stuffed full of the brilliant comic booklet Evolve Now (will try and get this posted up soon...it's epic!).

(Sam and Josh explaining the tract to some new friends...)

Since the theme of the day was Evolution, we all came painted up as various animals (or with faces depicting our own versions of the stages of evolution, or in monkey suits - it was all good).

(Me and Dee Jay smiling at the sun...:D)

It was great fun, and after a few hours of distributing booklets and having very interesting discussions with random passers-by, our team moved on down to bombard the Natural History Museum itself! Gasp - I know; such daring!

(Leilani charmed many with her unique bird facepaint...)

Okay so most of us were outside it, waiting for the visitors attending the exhibition to come out so we could attack (uh...metaphorically :P).
The sun was out and the smiles were in great supply. All in all, it was a smashing day! We gave out around 2,560 booklets, prayed with twelve people to give Jesus a chance in their lives (always a good idea), and even got to catch some snow on our way home!

I don't have a whole lot of pictures together right now, but I'll post the ones I do have here and hopefully get the rest to you all later on! Take care!

(Josh, Sam and a girl with really groovy hair!)

(And there's more where she came from, baby! :D)

(Tina's evolving tiger had a very eventful afternoon...)

(A performing magician who was sharing limelight with us in Trafalgar Square!)

(There he is in his superhero costume, appeasing the masses...)

And another one of Josh...

Tina giving hugs...she's good at that.

This little boy was part of a busking act with his parents...SO CUTE!
